Detexify

Came across a link to this project yesterday and thought it was so good it was worth putting together a quick blog entry. As the screenshot to the left suggests, there is a big box, you draw the LaTeX symbol you wish to find in the box using your mouse, and hey presto it gives you a selection of possibilities, with a score on how close it thinks it is to your scribble (based on the training it has received). How cool? Very cool!

Written by Daniel Kirsch, this wonderful tool can be found at Detexify2 – LaTeX symbol classifier, just follow the link and have a play around.
